FULFER - The body of William Buford Fulfer, 25, of the Standard Tank Farm near Bakersfield was removed from
Payne & Son chapel yesterday afternoon to the Janzen Funeral Parlors at Shafter where funeral services will be conducted
early next week.

Conduct Funeral For Wreck Victim
Shafter. Sep. 15 - Funeral services were held here yesterday for William Buford Fulfer, 24, killed last week
when his car crashed into a truck on the Golden State Highway. Large Bouquets of flowers decorated the Henry Janzen Funeral
Home in which the services were conducted before the body was interred in the Shafter Cemetery.
The accident victim leaves his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fulfer of Shafter, residents here 8 years;
his sisters Mrs. Jack Ratzlaff of Old River and Laureen and Betty Jean Fulfer of Shafter, and a brother John Fulfer of Bakersfield.
The Rev. P. L. Albany of Wasco officiated and delivered the sermon.
Mrs. O.P. Humphrey, L. Rogs, Mr. and Mrs. J. David Taylor, Mrs. John Elry and Joe Russell presented a musical
program during the service. Carl and Cecil Steele, Gerald Bosserdet and Harley Ayers of Shafter, Ben Estes of Wasco ad Edward
Benson of Oildale acted as pall bearers.
