Fulfer, Laura Lula - Services will be held in the Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel at 1p.m. Wednesday for Laura Lula Fulfer, 92, who died in Bakersfield August 27. Alton Little of the Church of Christ will officiate and Highland Church Singers will provide vocal offerings. Mrs. Fulfer born in Mississippi, lived in Kern County for 50 years. She was a charter member of the East Bakersfield church of Christ. Survivors include three daughter's, Clara Ratzlaff of Tehachapi, Lorriane Humphery of Fresno and Betty Patterson of Bakersfield; a sister, Lucille Binion of Texas; a brother, Bob Smith of Texas; 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Bob Fulfer, Richard Fulfer, Thomas Watson, Wade Watson, Edward Grimes and Jerry Grimes. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
