Clinkie Jayne Burnham Fulfer

C. Jayne Fulfer, 79, died Sunday, Nov 8, at Washakie Memorial Hospital. She was born on Dec 26, 1901 in Hereford, Tex, to Pres and Ellen Carter Burnham.

She was raised in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. She had worked as a telephone operator in El Paso, Tex., before her marriage in June 1939 to J. C. "Slim" Fulfer Sr., in Dimmitt, Tex. The couple resided in Dimitt, Tex., until moving to Owl Creek in 1957 and on to the Gooseberry creek in 1958.

They moved to their home south of Worland in 1963. She was a Rebekah and was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, J. C. "Slim" Fulfer of Worland and two sons J. C. "Lefty" Fulfer of Worland and Standlee C. Fulfer of Houston Tex., seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be at 9 pm Wednesday, Nov 11 at the Veile Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Kent Stangland of the Worland Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
