SANTA FE, N.M. _ Former Frederick, Okla., resident Tommy Gus Matthews, 42, Santa Fe, N.M., died Tuesday in Santa Fe following

a lengthy illness. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Gish Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Frederick, with the Rev. Mart Hardin, Oklahoma City, and the Rev. Charles Wyatt, pastor of

First Baptist Church, Frederick, officiating.

Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Area survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip T. ``Booge'' Matthews, and his grandmother,

Vera Laney, all of Frederick.
