Mrs. A. S. Matthews Dies Near Thornberry
Funeral services for Mrs. A. S. Matthews, 61, member of a well known family, who died at her home near Thronberry
Thursday night at 10:30 o'clock, will be conducted from the Thornberry Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock with
Rev. J. Dale Thorn of Graham, officiating, assisted by Rev. Boyd Hunt, pastor of the Thornberry church.
Pallbearers will be George Ellie, Ace Culver, Lee Hull, O. T. Roach, H. L. Hansard and Ralph Swinford. Burial
will be in the Charlie cemetery under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral home.
Survivors inlclued the husband; six daughters, Mrs. Jack Crumpler, and Mrs. Lynn Martin; both of Wichita Falls;
Mrs. Eva Nolan, Mrs. W. M. Fleming and Mrs. Ernest Cornelison, all of Thornberry, and Mrs. Ralph Hogge, Fort Worth; a son,
A. T. Matthews, Thornberry, and four sisters, including Mrs. Lucy Coker, Wichita Falls.
