COMMERCE - Willie Opal Hanes Fulfer, 88, of Azle died Monday at Harris Methodist Northwest Hospital in Azle.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.J. Ring officiating. Burial is in Sonora
Cemetery in Fairlie.
She was born March 10, 1911 in Hunt County to Sam Hanes and Connie Kelly Hanes. She married Curtis Burlene Fulfer
on Nov. 27, 1934 in Hugo, Okla. They moved from the Jordan Community to Van Alstyne in 1936 where they farmed for 40 years.
They moved to Princeton and then to Azle in 1995.
Mrs. Fulfer was a member of a Baptist Church.
Surviving are brother-in-law B.B. Fulfer of Azle; a sister-in-law, M.L. Cherry of Fort Worth; nephew Raymond
Speight of Azle; niece Rogene Speight Swinson of Fairlie and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
