STEPHENVILLE -- W.E. "Manny" Fulfer, 79, a cattleman and retired State Highway Department employee, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at a Bossier City, La. medical center.

 

Funeral: 3 p.m .Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial: New Gordon Cemetery in Gordon.

 

W.E. Fulfer was born April 30, 1920, in Erath County.

 

He attended Huckabay Baptist Church and was a Mason and lived most of his life in Erath County. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

 

Survivors: Daughter, Lisa Lynn of Gordon; brothers, Billy Joe Fulfer of Gordon, Teddy Ray Fuller of Fort Worth; sisters, Sis Phipps of Fort Worth, Viola Bostick of Fort Worth; special friend, Johnnie Carter of Stephenville; granddaughter, Shana Lynn; and grandson. Travis Lynn.
