Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel for Barney Fulfer,
75, of Rote 1, Mingus, who passed away Friday night in Ranger General Hospital.
The Rev. Woody McClendon of the First United Methodist Church of Gordon will officiate with the Rev. Guy Birdwell
of the Hannibal Methodist Church assisting.
Burial will be in the Exray Cemetery.
Born March 30, 1897, in Erath County, he was a lifelong resident and a retired farmer. He married Leola Hall
on May 7, 1917.
Survivors include the widow; four sons, Teddy Ray Fulfer of Mingus, Billy Joe Fulfer of Gordon, Son Fulfer of
Stephenville, and W. E. Fulfer of Fort Worth; three daughters, Mrs. Grady Crain of Mineola, and Mrs. Bob Phipps and Mrs. Alvin
Bostic both of Fort Worth; a brother, Luther Fulfer of Mingus; a sister, Mrs. Raymond blue of Gordon; 14 grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rex Simmons, Howard Hall, Owen Ray Wynne, Willie Nathan Fulfer, Clifford W. Fulfer, Alvin
Ray Blue, and Hershell Gibson.
