Marion Tate Fulfer, 78, of Greenville, died of an apparent heart attack Friday afternoon while in Commerce to
attend the funeral of his brother W. T. Fulfer. Fulfer suffered the apparent heart attack at the home of H. E. Wood at 401
Neal Street and was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Charlie J. Walden.
Grave side rites were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at South Sulphur Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral
Home.
Born December 12, 1893 in Wolfe City, he was the son of Marion F. and Frances Miller Fulfer. The retired farmer
was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Baptist Church.
Fulfer is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Floyd Lane of Dallas, Mrs. Lynn Putman of Dallas, Mrs. Billie Ray
of Dallas, Mrs. Naud Brunett of Dallas aad (sic) Mrs. Roger Cozort of Kansas City, Missouri; and one son, Royce F. Fulfer
of California.
