Pioneer Hunt County Resident Passes Away Near Commerce

Commerce, June 15.--F. M. Fulfer, 80, pioneer Hunt County resident, passed away at the home of his son on Route
3 Wednesday. Last rites were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of the Sheely Home in the South Sulphur
church. Interment followed in the South Sulphur Cemetery.
Mr. Fulfer was born in Wolfe City, February 22, 1853, the son of J. H. Fulfer and Mary Vanbiber. He was married
at the age of 16 to Mrs. Birdie Hedges. He was a member of the Christian Church, joining in early manhood.
Mr. Fulfer is survived by his wife and nine children: three daughter, Mrs. Daisy Gregory of Dallas; and Loreta
Fulfer, of Hugo; and six sons; John Fulfer of Celeste; Bunyan Fulfer, of Red River County, Pete Fulfer, of Deport; Tom Fulfer,
of Commerce; Tate Fulfer, of Celeste; and Sherman Fulfer of Hugo, Okla.
