Fulfer, L. J. Franklin - services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the North Chester Church of Christ of L.J. Franklin Fulfer, 51, Bakersfield, who died Saturday. C. E. Franklin, minister of the North Chester Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow in Shafter District Cemetery. Mr. Fulfer was born Sept. 1, 1918 in Ft. Worth, Texas and had lived in this community since 1943. He was a foreman at the Kern County Industrial Farm and worked for Kern County 18 years. He was a member of the North Chester Church of Christ and was active in church affairs. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 224, the Kern County Employees Association, Kern County Federal Credit Union, and the Royal Neighbors of America at Ft. Worth. Survivors include his widow, Juanita G.; his stepmother Mrs. Stella Fulfer of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter, Edna Eisentrager of Fresno; three brothers, James and Doyle of Ft. Worth and Charles of Port Arthur, Texas; a sister, Julia Jacobs of Ft. Worth and a granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Ralph Beaman, Vernie Crismas, Clair Fuhrman, Brad Myers, Jim Webb and Floyd Wallace. Mish Funeral Home - Oildale.
