Private services were held Friday, October 17, by a loving family for Mrs. Fulfer, 89, who passed away last week. Mrs. Fulfer, a resident of Sunbridge Care Center in Kingsburg, was a former longtime resident of Kern County where she drove a school bus and taught as an instructional aide for Special Education. In all her endeavors, including her membership in the Oildale Church of Christ, she was known for her kindness, feisty spirit, and wry sense of humor. She was interred in the Shafter Cemetery next to her beloved husband, L.J. Franklin Fulfer.
