Lessie O'Dell Fulfer of Grand Junction died of natural causes Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital. She was 83.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in Martin Mortuary.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Scroggins officiating.
Mrs. Fulfer, a homemaker, had lived in Grand Junction since 1945.
She was born Sept 11, 1911, to Benjamin and Aggie Bloomer in Greenville, Texas. She spent her childhood in Oklahoma
and Sudan, Texas and graduated from high school in Sudan.
She married John C. Fulfer on Oct. 23, 1930, in Clovis, N. M. He died Oct. 19, 1994, in Grand Junction.
Mrs. Fulfer lived in Carlsbad, N. M. before moving to Grand Junction.
She was a member of the Salvation Army, and enjoyed her family, sewing, cooking, crocheting, fishing, growing
flowers nd gardening.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Bobbie of Aurora; tow daughters and a son-in-law, Betty
and Don McBride of Fruita and Dorothy McNeely of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great
grandchild.
