John Chester Fulfer of Grand Junction, died of natural causes Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital. He was 82.
Visitation wil be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Martin Mortuary.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Orchard Mesa Cemetry with the Rev. Eddie Scroggins officiating.
Mr. Fulfer had been a general housing construction contractor. He was a carpenter his entire life.
He was bonr Dec. 15, 1911, to Jack and Elizabeth Cagle Fulfer in Talban, N.M., where he spent his childhood
and graduated from high school.
He married Lessie Bloomer on Oct. 23, 1930, in Clovis, N.M. She survives.
Mr. Fulfer was a member of Grand Junction Methodist Church.
He enjoyed making furniture, gardening, picnics, boating and outdoor cooking.
Survivors include a son, John of Aurora: tow daughters, Betty McBride of Fruit and Dorothy McNeely of Grand
Junction; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Seven sisters and three brothers are deceased.
