Commerce--Funeral services for longtime Commerce resident Bertie Clayton Fulfer, 94, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Jones Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jackie Abbott officiating. Burial will be in the Rosemound Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulfer was born March 23, 1894, in Glen Rose, to Jasper and Mahley Fulfer Clayton. She married W. T. Fulfer in Commerce on Dec. 28, 1919. He preceded her in death in 1972.

Mrs. Fulfer was a homemaker. She was a member of the College Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lillian Riffle and Pauline Bussell, both of Commerce; one sister, Dollie Earwood of Malakoff; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.
