PIONEER RESIDENT OF HORTON DIES

Funeral services for Mrs. W. J. Clayton, 82, pioneer of the Horton community, were held Friday afternoon at Horton Baptist Church with Rev. N. D. Gillmore officiating.

Mrs. Clayton had lived in and around Horton all of her life. She died Thursday at her home there.

She is survived by seven children, four daughters and three sons. Her husband preceded her in death.
