Leda Pearl Butler
Graveside services for Leda Pearl Butler, 87, of North Richland Hills, Texas, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday,
June 1, 2004, in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate.
Mrs. Butler passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004, in Fort Worth. She was born Dec. 20, 1916, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Robert
and Eva Ferguson Elmore. She married George Lester Butler.
Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Leda Pearl Butler is survived by her daughter, Barbara Vanoven of North Richland Hills; son, George Butler of Durant,
Okla.; brother, Lester Elmore of Cleburne; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lester Butler, in 1980; daughter, Johnnie Ruth Ledbetter, and great-granddaughter,
Amber Ledbetter.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2004, in the Cleburne Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Texas.
