Brewer, D.D.S. Peter Dorris--at home in S. F. , June 18, 1993, after a courageous battle with cancer; Peter
was a gentle, compassionate, humorous man who loved life, his family and friends; he will be deeply missed by all who knew
and loved him; he is survived by his wife, Carol Rose Brewer; son, Matthew D. Brewer; daughters, Cristine E. McDermott and
Courtney P. Brewer; brother of John, David and Susan Brewer; Step-daughters, Kelly and Suzanne Scatens; also survived by sons-in-law,
sisters-in-law and four grandchildren; a native of S. F. , born 8/12/35; he attended U. C. Berkeley and U. C. School of Dentistry;
served in the U. S. Army; practiced Dentistry in S. F. for 30 years; he was a member of the American & California Dental
Associations, S.F. Dental Society and Past President of S. F. Wheelman Bike Club; Peter hoped to be remembered for spreading
goodness and helping people; he is free at last to soar with the flying kites.
Private inurnment at Golden Gate National Cemetery. A Memorial Service is planned for August, Contributions
are preferred to U.C.S.F. Cancer Research Fund or U.C. Bear-Backers.
