Luckey, Mrs. Ella (Harvey) of Rockdale, Age 71. Died 9/1972 (Sat) at Richards Hospital after an illness of several
months. Services held (Sunday) at Phillips & Luckey Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. D. D. Simpson,
pastor of First Baptist Church, and Rev. M. C. Brown, pastor of Full Gospel chapel, officiated. She was born 2/23/1901 in
the New Salem Community. To Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hillin. Married Harvey Luckey in Thorndale on Feb. 8, 1933. She lived her entire
life in Milam co., and Rockdale the last 6 years. Member of Full Gospel Church of Rockdale. Survivors: husband, Harvey Luckey
of Rockdale; brother, J. W. Hillin of Houston; 8 sisters, Mrs. Ida Jo Marshall, Mrs. Clyde Loveless, Mrs. A. C. Skinner, and
Mrs. Jack Schneebeli, all of Rockdale, Mrs. W. S. Weatherred of Dallas, Mrs. E. I. Williams of Lyons, Mrs. Marie Buetow of
Houston and Mrs. Ed Stork of Hempstead.
