Jess Elmore Dies Today
Jess Elmore, 89, Route 1, Blum, died this morning at Johnson County Memorial Hospital. He had lived in the Blum community
60 years.
Elmore was born in Hunt County Dec. 23, 1884. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God denomination.
His wife prededed him in death Oct. 30, 1963.
He is survived by four sons, Jack and Jodie Elmore of Dallas, James Elmore of Joshua of Fort Worth (sic names seems to
be left out of obit); two daughters, Mrs. Ira Paulk of Amarillo and Mrs. Gladys Bevill of Mt. Ida, Ark.; one brother, R. L.
Elmore of this city; 30 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home with Wibur Pearce
officiating. Burial will be in the Blum Cemetery.
