Frank Decker, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1933, died Tuesday, November 21, 2000, of natural causes. Survived by
his son, Darrell Decker and wife, Patty of Edgewood; daughters, Kathleen Kadas, Barbara Polk and husband, Ted, Margaret Kryfko
and husband, Tom, all of Albuquerque; sister, Rose Birkenfeld of Nazareth, TX; grandchildren, Brian Beck, Steven and Madeline
Kadas, Michael and Shelly Kadas, Eric and Kara Kadas, Kirk Kadas, Ricardo and Lori Sanchez, Carmel and Ross Busby, Phillip
Sanchez, Pamela Polk, Matthew Polk, Gwen Van Damme, Diana Decker, Darren Decker, Dewette Decker, Dane Decker, Ryan Morris,
Tres Kryfko; great-grandchildren, James Polk, Ryan Johnson, Devin Van Damme, Lindsey Van Damme, Mikayla Kadas, Rebecca Barrowman,
Kassie Kadas, Kyndra Kadas, Cheryl Warren, Derick Warren, Jack Sanchez; great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa Polk, Amanda Polk;
and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Decker was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby of 68 years; and daughter, Mona Ray Sutton.
He was a member of our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church since its beginning and served as an usher. Mr. Decker was also a
member of St. Vincent de Paul Society; NARVE; Poultry Club ABA & APA; Rio Grande Wood Carvers Club; North Valley Senior
Center; and Bi-Lingual Sun Beams. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for 29 years. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00
p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Our
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Joe Vigil, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers
will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University
Blvd. NE, Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association
of NM, 216 Truman NE, 87108. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
