Millie Carrie Fulfer is absent from her body and face to face with her Lord. She left this earth Friday, September 15, 2006. She was born February 14, 1908 to Elihue and Martha Wright in Texas.

She moved with her family to Greenbrier, Arkansas in January 1949 to what she called "A land of milk and honey, with plenty of fresh, cool water, lots of fruit and berries and land to grow crops." Eight months later she gave birth to triplets, two boys and one girl (The first triplets to be born in Arkansas) to even out a "perfect dozen". She and her husband farmed until his health failed and they sold the farm and moved into town, although she continued to garden and can her vegetables until she was 90 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, her husband; Henry, daughters; Lenora Lawrence, Wanda McDaniel, and grandsons; Henry (Bo) Brawley and Daniel Gray.

She leaves behind, four sons; Travis Fulfer and wife Jennifer of Maumelle, Larry Fulfer of Jacksonville, Troy Fulfer and wife Linda of Conway, Coy Fulfer and wife Anita also of Conway, six daughters; Margaret Brawley of Gatze, Minnesota, Sadie Wright of Vilonia, Henry Ella Gray of Eldorado Springs, Missouri, Barbara Hunt and husband Don of Briggsville, Sharon Wilson and husband Hershel of Greenbrier, and Collean Johnson of Conway, 29 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren, making a total of 119 direct descendents. She was also blessed with an extended family of one grandson, 6 great-granddaughters, 3 great-great-granddaughters, and 6 great-great-grandsons.

Mrs. Millie’s greatest enjoyment was attending church at Faith Baptist in Greenbrier, where she was a charter member, sewing lap quilts and mending clothes for the veterans as a member of the Greenbrier Auxillary, and quilting at the Senior Citizens Center of Greenbrier. When she was no longer able to garden, her flower beds grew and flourished. It has been said that "she could plant a weed and a beautiful flower would grow."
