Perkins Rites Set Saturday

 

Millerton resident, Isiah Perkins, 87, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Valliant. He was born Jan. 2, 1915, at Millerton, to Jesse Alan and Roxie Ann Perkins.

Isiah was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was a farmer and enjoyed taking care of his stock.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Perkins; and a brother.

Survivors include a brother, L. L. Perkins, Garvin; a sister, Lorene Ballards, Mill City, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Jim Norwood Funeral, Idabel.
