GLEN ROSE - Waymond Swaim, 78, died Tuesday at a Glen Rose hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Nancy Smith Cemetery.
Waymond Swaim was born Aug. 12, 1918, in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of Lebanon, Ore., Masonic Lodge 44 AF&AM. Mr. Swaim had formerly lived in Arizona and Oregon, where he was a brakeman and conductor for the Southern Pacific railroad for 34 years. He retired in 1978 and moved back to Glen Rose.
Survivors: Wife, Loveda Swaim of Glen Rose; son, Thomas Wayne Swaim of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Velda Jean Vom Baur of Piqua, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; five nieces; and four nephews.
