BRECKENRIDGE — James Sherrin, age 71 of Breckenridge, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Hendrick Medical
Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 22nd, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
James Earl Sherrin was born on September 26, 1934 in Paducah, Texas to parents Wayne Sherrin and Vida Fulfer Sherrin.
He grew up in Brownsfield and Tokio, Texas. James served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1963. He married Edythe
Mondell Camper on March 28, 1974 in Levelland. They moved to Breckenridge from Tokio in 1982. James retired from the West
Central Texas Municipal Water District in 2003. He was a member of the Scottish Rites of Lubbock and the Masonic Lodge. James
was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Clois Sherrin, and 1 sister, Christine Barton.
James is survived by his wife, Edythe Sherrin of Breckenridge; 2 sons, Derrell Sherrin & wife, Patty of Bryson and
Creig Sherrin & wife, Lee of Albany; 1 step-son, Charles Hayes of Eastland; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and
3 nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge of Breckenridge and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be sent
