WEATHERFORD - Susie V. Penning, 93, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at a Weatherford hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial: Exray Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sue was born Sept. 6, 1912, in the Liberty community in Erath County. She was a member of Gordon First Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She had lived the past six years in Weatherford, moving there from Erath County and the Mingus area. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tess Fulfer; second husband, Ray Penning; and a son, Tess Jo-Dean Fulfer.

Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Willie and Brenda Fulfer of Weatherford; sisters, Dorothy Schieme of Boyd and Frances Helms of Stephenville; brother, Waymon Alexander of Alcon; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
