Rites Pending
Ex-Seminole Man is Killed
Seminole-(Staff)-Funeral services were pending here today for Mat Wiley Fulfer, 39, former Seminole resident, who died
Saturday when the car in which he was riding overturned 28 miles northwest of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Fulfer was living in El Paso at the time of his death.
Wyoming State Patrol officers who investigated the accident said the driver of the car, James Warren Pruett, of Glade
Springs, Va., lost control of the car on a curve and the vehicle overturned twice.
Both men were thrown from the car. Pruett receive minor injuries, but Fulfer died at the scene. A Singleton Funeral
Home spokesmen here today said Fulfer's body would arrive in Seminole late today.
Fulfer had been in Cheyenne about two weeks working on a pipeline construction job. He was born Nov. 8, 1922, in
Matador.
Survivors include a daughter, Wileyn Fulfer, who lives with the victim's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Fulfer, in
Seminole; his wife and three step-daughters, all of whom live in El Paso; and two sisters, Mrs. Jake McKinley, El Paso and
Mrs. Ben Phifer, San Antonio.
