Commerce-Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Smith 2058 Durham Home, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Jones Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Smith died Monday in a Fort Worth hospital after a short illness. She was 77.
The Rev. N. D. Gilmore will conduct the services. Burial will be in Horton Cemetery.
The daughter of Jasper Clayton and Mahala Fulfer Clayton, she married D. J. Smith in 1915.
She was a longtime resident of Commerce and a member of the College Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband and three daughters; Mrs. Fronia Roberts, Commerce; Mrs. Irma Sue Hodes, Bridge City; and Mrs. Bertha Abbott, Fort Worth.
She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters; Jim Clayton, Commerce; Jack Clayton, Hugo, Oklahoma; Mrs. Bertie Fulfer, Commerce; Mrs. Annie Burns, commerce; and Mrs. Dollie Earwood, Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dent Clark, Arvel Moreland, James Wilson; James Riffle; Thomas Busby, and Earl Reagan.
