LINCOLN - Jean Slayton, 72, of Lincoln died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 17, 1997) at her residence.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln, Tom Gerdts officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Slayton was born Jan. 14, 1925, at Farina, a daughter of Rube and Leona Adams Fulfer. She married Harold Slayton on May 31, 1945, at Bowling Green, Ky. He died Aug. 7, 1979.
Survivors include one son, Loren "Butch" Slayton, Cumberland, Wis.; one brother, Kenneth Fulfer, Lincoln; and three grandchildren.
Her parents and one daughter, Kay, preceded her in death.
