Gary Simms

 

JOSHUA -- Funeral services for Gary Simms, 56, of Joshua, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2003, with Ricky Davis and Richard Collins officiating. Masonic graveside services will be held at Union Hill Cemetery with Masonic Brothers serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Simms, a truck driver, passed away July 11, 2003, in Shreveport, La.
He was born Feb. 4, 1947, the son of Garvin and Helen (Fulfur) Simms, in Johnson County, Texas. He married Peggy Carlock Aug. 11, 1972, in Cleburne, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Simms of Joshua; one son, Phil Hamill and wife, Evette of Keller; mother-in-law, Elsie Carlock of Joshua; two brothers, John Simms and Don Simms; two sisters, Ann Young and Janice Cole; three granddaughters, Mandi Rickman, Libby Hamill and Emma Hamill and many nieces and nephews.
