Brownfield (Special)- Services for Vida M. Sherrin, 79, of Brownfield will be held at 10 a.m. Monday inn Brownfield
Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Flowers, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Terry County
Memorial Park. Mrs. Sherrin died at 12:17 p.m. Friday in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. She was
born in Greenville and moved from Paducah to Terry County in 1943. She married Wayne Sherrin on Nov. 12, 1927, in Durant,
Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Tokio Baptist Church. A son, Clois, died in 1978. Survivors include
her husband; a son, James of Breckenridge; a daughter, Christine Barton of Seminole; a sister, B. D. Fulfur of Greenville;
eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Brownfield--Funeral services of Hunt County native Vida M. Sherrin, were Monday, with Rev. Ken Flowers officiating. Burial
will be in Brownfield Cemetery. Mrs. Sherrin died Aug. 2 in a Lubbock hospital. She was born Dec. 7, 1911, to Grover
C. and Laura J. Fulfer. She married Wayne Sherrin on Nov. 12, 1927 in Durant, Okla. She was a Baptist. Survivors
include her husband, of Brownfield , a son, James Earl Sherrin, of Breckenridge, a daughter, Christine Barton of Seminole;
a sister, Berna D. Fulfer of Greenville and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
a son in 1978, a sister in 1983, and two brothers in 1984 and 1985. Pallbearers were her five grandchildren and a nephew. Arrangements
were under the direction of the Brownfield funeral home.
