Funeral services for Walter P. Schroeder, 73, of Montgomery will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, at Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastors Rene and Barbara Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 13, 2003. The family will be receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Mr. Schroeder was born June 12, 1930, in Dayton, Texas and passed away Oct. 10, 2003, in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Navy military service. Survivors include: wife, Mary Schroeder; children, Bobby Howell and wife Carol of Houston, Texas, Pam Mayfield and husband Shane of Iola, Texas, Jackie Hudgens and husband Dennis of Montgomery, Texas, James Howell and wife Christy of Chelsea, Mich., Doug Howell and wife Krystal of Knoxville, Tenn., Tommy Howell and significant other, Mark Dryden of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly and Kristin Howell, Christopher Howell, Bobby and Shane Mayfield, Jennifer Hudgens, Ethan Howell, Douglas Burton, Regina Burton, Shelby Howell, Jacob Howell, Sean Howell, Nicolas Howell and Cody Howell; great-grandchild, Kathryn Wilkerson; sisters, Charlotte Whiddon and husband Randall of Conroe, and Elsie Chisolm and husband Joe of Humble, Texas and a host of other loving extended family and friends. Pallbearers include Dennis Hudgens, Bobby Howell, James Howell, Tommy Howell, Mark Dryden and Randall Whiddon.
