Mary Jane Fulfer Rice, 43, dies; co-owned WEPG radio
JASPER, Tenn. -- Mary Jane Fulfer Rice, co-owner of WEPG radio station in South Pittsburg, Tenn., died Tuesday, Sept.
19, 2000, in a local hospital. She was 43. She was active in the Jasper Jaycees, Marion County Juvenile Court System, Foster
Parent Program, Step for Kid's Programs and the Jasper Lions Club. Survivors include her husband, Jerry W. Rice; son, Joey
Rice, Jasper; five daughters, Mary Beth Rice, Jasper, Audrey Waiter, Guild, Tenn., Kathy Wills, Whitehouse, Tenn., Jennifer
Hayes, Goodlettsville, Tenn., and Danielle Pomeroy, Gallatin, Tenn.; mother, Shirley Jones, Jasper; father, Billy Sam Fulfer,
Sequatchie, Tenn.; two brothers, William Samuel Fulfer, Chattanooga, and Jessie Richard Fulfer and Billy Fulfer, both of Sequatchie;
three sisters, Margie Faith Allen, Jasper, Sharon Annette Harriod, Chattanooga, and Audrey Aileen Griffith, Rossville, Ga. The
funeral will be today at 8 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions
