"BEADIE GREGORY POWELL

Funeral services for Beadie Gregory Powell, 85, of Conroe, Texas, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 1995 at Taylor Street Church of Christ with Bill Schlabach officiating.  Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery.  Mrs. Powell died Jan. 24, 1995 at Medical Center Hospital in Conroe, Texas.  She was born Dec. 20, 1909, in Greenville, Texas.  She married John Paul Powell Oct. 11, 1925, in Shamrock, Texas. He died in 1973.  Mrs. Powell has been a resident of Conroe for three years, moving here from Lubbock, Texas, where she was a resident of 10 years.  She was a former resident of Maple, Texas.  She was a homemaker and a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ.  Survivors include:  son, Paul Powell of Conroe, Texas;  brothers, Deward Gregory and Cobert Gregory, both of Paducah, Texas;  sisters, Ravenell Todd and Lora Cloud, both of Levelland, Texas;  three grandchildren;  and five great-grandchildren.  Ellis Funeral Home, Muleshoe, Texas."
