Virgie Elizabeth Phipps

 

Funeral services for Virgie Elizabeth Phipps, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield.

Mrs. Phipps, a retired lab tech, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at her residence in Cleburne. She was born in Bosque County, Texas, Aug. 13, 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Elias Phipps, and three brothers.

She is survived by one son, Richard Norman Phipps and wife Donna; daughter, Cathy Elaine Barker and husband, Terry of Purvis, Miss.; foster brother, Danny Moore of Cleburne; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
