Mrs. Isaac Phipps Dead, Brief Illness

 

Mrs, Rebecca Jean Phipps, 82, died at 10:20 o'clock last night at the family home, 1203 South Shipley street after a short illness. Mrs. Phipps was born in South Carolina and came to Muncie in 1913. She was a charter member of the Glad Tidings Church.
Surviving are the husband, Isaac,  three sons, William of Elnora, Ind., Guy, at home, and Noah of Jasonville, Ind., and five daughters, Mrs. Mary Mowery of Linton, Mrs, Roy Hollowell of Indianapolis, Mrs. Frank Southworth of Muncie, Miss Effie Phipps, at home, and Mrs. Walter Bundy of Muncie. The body was removed to the Parson mortuary.
