Jack E. Silliman

FORT STOCKTON -- Jack E. Silliman, 89, of Fort Stockton, a retired
civil  engineer,  died  Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at the Fort Stockton
Nursing Center.

Services  will  be  private. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral
Home. He was born in Redrock, Okla., and had moved to Fort Stockton in
1928.

He built the Firestone track in Fort Stockton.

He was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Nita Silliman of Fort Stockton; sons, Tom Silliman
of  Great  Falls,  Va.,  Frank Silliman of Odessa and Bill Silliman of
Fort Smith, Ark.
