Lucille Peeples

 

IDALOU — Graveside services for Lucille Peeples, 80, of Idalou will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Idalou Cemetery with Virgil Lawyer officiating.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at White Memorial Chapel in Idalou.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home of Idalou.
She died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001.
She was born Feb. 5, 1921, in Erath County, and moved to Idalou in 1923. She graduated from Idalou High School. She married Perry L. Peeples on Oct. 4, 1940. He died March 20, 1986. She was a homemaker and worked in sales at Ceramic Peeples in Abernathy until 1992.
She was a member of Idalou Church of Christ, where she taught children's Sunday School classes for 15 years.
Survivors include a son, Terry F. of Idalou; a daughter, Shelley Craig of Lubbock; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Children's Home, 4404 Idalou Road, Lubbock, TX 79403, or to a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. PIC
