Winnie T. Elmore Paulk, 80, of Amarillo, died Saturday, April 19, 1997. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Grand
Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Norris, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery at Clarendon by Robertson
Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Paulk was born near Covington(Hill Co.,) and was a Dallas resident before moving to
Amarillo 38 years ago. She married Ira "Buster'' Paulk in 1938 at Dallas. He died in 1979. Mrs. Paulk was a homemaker and
a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She also was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Paulk. Survivors include three
daughters, Barbara Ann Graham of Arlington, Linda Kay Warner of Lake Whitney and Iris Bishop of Amarillo; two sons, Michael
Paulk of Cummings, Ga., and Stephen Paulk of Amarillo; a sister, Gladys Bevill of Maybank; a brother, Dick Elmore of Joshua;
16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the
American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. The body will be available for viewing until 11 a.m. Monday
at Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
