Parker Funeral Set At Elliott's Chapel

Funeral for Sam C. Parker, 53, who died at his home here Tuesday morning is to be held from Elliott's chapel at 2 o'clock this afternoon.   The Rev. James Alexander, Baptist minister is to officiate and burial wil be in the Potosi cemetery under auspices of the IOOF of which he was a member. Pallbearers will be members of the lodge.
A resident of Taylor county since 1900. Parker was born July 16, 1888 at Walnut Springs.  He was married to Otha Jarrell in Abilene May 11, 1924. A blacksmith by trade, he operated his shop in the yard of his home, 501 Cherry street.
He is survived by his wife, a sister, Mrs. Edna Kelsey of Yuma, Ariz.
