Funeral Services for Mart Parker, 72, of 257 S. 25th will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elliott's Chapel of Memories with the Rev. J. J. Kinsfather, pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Potosi Cemetery.
Mr. Parker died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday in West Texas Medical Center after a long illness.
Born Feb. 7, 1898, in Bosque County, he married Zettie Halley at Willow, Okla., March 22, 1923.  He had lived in Abilene all his married life and was  a charter member of the First United Pentecostal Church.  He was a retired contractor.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Nell) Bradshaw and Mrs. Wayne (Nancy) Sanford, both of Rt. 5, Abilene, and Mrs Michael (Hazel) O'Brian of Odessa; three sons, I. W. of Odessa, Ernest of Baytown and Leon of Dallas; 17 grandchildren.
