Ernest Boyd Parker

Ernest Boyd Paker, 80, of 317 Formosa, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 1:20 pm Thursday at Elliot-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Marvin Haile officiating. Burial will be in Potosi Cemetery.
Mr. Parker was born in Abilene and attended school here. He lived most of his married life in Baytown and moved to Abilene in 1990.
He was a bricklayer and retired.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Garvey Parker of Abilene; a son, Chris Parker, of Dayton; four daughters, Rayda Howe of Merkel, and Debbie Drennan, Teresa Parker and Maria Parker, all of Abilene; his mother Zettie Parker of Abilene; two brothers, Lloyde Parker of Pflugerville, and Leon Parker of Arlington; three sisters, Hazel (Mrs. Doug) Vrbel of Pflugerville, Nell (Mrs. Carl) Bradshaw and Nancy (Mrs. Wayne) Stanford, both of Potosi; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:30 pm today.
The family will be at 2518 Maple.
