Funeral for Deddie F. (Shook) Parker, 64, who died Thursday at his home on Abilene Rt. 5, following an
extended illness , will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m. in Elloitt's Chapel of Memories . The Rev. J. J. Kinsfather pastor
of the United Pentecostal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Potosi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be C. D.
Alldridge, R. C. Tyler, Jack Watson, Willie Moore, Ray B____, and James English. A native of Brown county, Mr. Parker
came to Abilene in 1900 [difficult to read]. He was a World War I Veteran. and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors
include two brothers, Mart of Rt. 5 with whom he made his home and Jess of Yuma, Arizona....
