CLEBURNE -- Leda Faye Owens, 80, of Cleburne passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel of Cleburne. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be nieces, Lois Griffin, Linda Johnson, Brenda Graham, Verna Parnell, Laura Estes and Pam Fergason.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Owens, a retired Minister, was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Somervell County, Texas, the daughter of Luther Ray and Lillie Maud (Hankins) Fergason. She married Rucker Owens on Jan. 4, 1953, in Burleson. He preceded her in death Sept. 14, 2000.
She is survived by one brother, Gene Fergason of Rio Vista; five nieces and two nephews and several great and great-great-nieces and one great-great-nephew.
