MILDRED E. MOSS, 94, of Memphis, former owner of Moss Furniture Co., died of
heart failure Monday at Saint Francis Nursing Home. Services will be at 11
a. m. Thursday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Moss, the widow of
George T. Moss, leaves a son, Ray McElhaney, and a sister, Marybell Creasey,
both of Memphis, a grandson and two great-grandchildren. The family requests
that, in lieu of flowers, any memorials be sent to the American Lung
Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
