Mrs. Bessie Mize Dies in Tomball, Burial at George
Funeral services were held April 8, 1971 for Mrs. Bessie Jane Mize, 84, of North Zulch.  Mrs. Mize died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Childress of Tomball, on April 6.
Mrs. Mize was born November 19, 1886, in Bonham, Texas. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Childress of Tomball; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Services were at the Sand Prairie Baptis Church in George with the Rev. J. L. Crocker of Madisonville officiating.
Pallbearers were Jessee Childress, Kenneth Henson, Gerald Harmelt, Ernest Gustayus, Noah Cryar, and T. E. Crouth.   Interment was under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral Home.

George and Bessie were both 19 years old when Wilburn was born. They were living in Madison County at the time. George Henson died on April 11,1941 in Rosebud, TX Falls County and is buried at Powers Chapel in Rosebud. Bessie shows up at Cameron Milam County , TX in 1943 to file a probated birth certificate for Wilburn and the address she gives is North Zulch, Texas. To my understanding Grover stayed in the Falls Co. area and Ruby lived and died in the Tomball or Humble, TX area. This is all the information I have. I hope to hear from you soon.
 Sincerely,
Terry Henson
( Grandson of Wilburn Madison Driggers)
