Mrs. Bessie Mize Dies in Tomball, Burial at George
Funeral services were held April 8, 1971 for Mrs. Bessie Jane Mize,
84, of North Zulch. Mrs. Mize died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Childress of Tomball, on April 6.
Mrs.
Mize was born November 19, 1886, in Bonham, Texas. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Childress of Tomball; nine grandchildren,
16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Services were at the Sand Prairie Baptis Church in George with
the Rev. J. L. Crocker of Madisonville officiating.
Pallbearers were Jessee Childress, Kenneth Henson, Gerald Harmelt,
Ernest Gustayus, Noah Cryar, and T. E. Crouth. Interment was under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral Home.
