Morton was born March 31, 1928, in Cleburne, Texas. Survivors: Wife, Marvetta Morton of Cleburne; son, Michael Morton of Dublin;
daughter, Linda Morton of Euless; stepsons, Eugene and Marvin Brawner of Joshua; brothers, R. B. Morton of Livingston,
Bob Morton of Liberty, Mo., Bill Morton of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Dickie Covington of Cleburne; 12 grandchildren; and
12 great-grandchildren.
