Vance Moring, 85, of Stephenville, died Friday, Nov. 29, at 3 a.m in Stephenville General Hospital.
Services will be Saturday, Nov. 30, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Oscar Hartsfield officiating, assisted by Wayne Stewart.
Burial will be held in the Exray Cemetery under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 31, 1903, in Erath County, he married Dessie Brown who preceded him in death in 1935.  He married Mildred Fulfer, May 27, 1938.
He was a retired farmer and dairyman, member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge and had lived most of his live in Erath County.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two sons, Sherwin Moring of Boston, Mass. and Ronnie Moring of Stephenville; three daughters, Sue Adams, Sandra Baily and Peggy Heartsfield, all of Stephenville; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A son, Joe Ray, preceded him in death.
