ATLANTA - The Funeral For Kay Moreland, 43, of Atlanta will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Quiriam Funeral Home, Atlanta, Norman Howard officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She died at 4:44 p.m. Saturday (May 9, 1992) at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
She was born May 31, 1948, in Lincoln, a daughter of Harold and Jean Fulfer Slayton. She married Donald Moreland April 22, 1972, in Lincoln. He survives.
Also surviving are a son, Brian Moreland, at home; three stepsons, Jeff Moreland, Belle, Mo.; Curt Moreland, Jefferson City, Mo.; and Scott Moreland, Benton, Mo.; a brother Loren "Butch" Slayton, St. Louis, Mo.; her mother, Jean Slayton, Lincoln; and her maternal grandmother, Leona Fulfer, Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mrs. Moreland was employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation in Springfield for the past 23 years.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
