Commerce--Earl Moreland, 66, of Keene, formerly of Commerce, died Monday at a Cleburne hospital.  Services will be at Jones Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Jimmy Rose and Bro. George Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Horton Cemetery.
Born on Oct. 1, 1924 in Emblem, he was the son of Jeff D.  and Annie Clayton Moreland.  Mr. Moreland was a World War II Army veteran, was a retired foundation repairer and member of Horton Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Jeff Moreland of Commerce, Marty Moreland and Dallas Blankenship, both of Fort Worth; two daughters, Jan Clayton and Cindy Wies, both of Commerce; one brother, Arvil Moreland of Horton; tow sisters, Mae Follis of Sulphur Springs and Kana Lou Arnold of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Moreland, Larry Moreland, Shannon Moreland, David Arnold, Mike Arnold and Bill Austin.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Jones Funeral Home.
